on the road car is stalling

at any given speed on occassion i stall out  i throw it in nuetral turn off and refire and on i go.   as it stalls i feel a little kick underneath the driver seat area   the turbo gauge still engages as i press the gas but my rpms hit zero.  i am traveling right now  cannot get an engine code reading     any way to reset engine codes w/out a dealer   auto zone will not doit

To reset you just gotta disconnect the negative side of the battery for a couple of minutes....but that might not help.
