missing vaccum hose - 10/26/2007 5:29:03 PM    josh_d87   Posts: 9 Joined: 10/26/2007 Status: offline hello i have a problem with my '99 saab 9-3 i dont know much about cars but i will try to explain it as best i can in hopes that someone can tell me what it is, there is a vacuum hose that is supposed to be connected to the intake right where the intake pipe connects to the engine, it is i believe the only vacuume hose that comes out the passenger side of the intake. well that hose is gone. i started my car this morning and it was running really rough. i looked in the engine and could hear the hiss of air, wich lead me to the very small part of hose was hanging however i could not for the life of me find the rest of the hose. what i need to know is what does it go to. it is, like i said, on the passenger side of the intake, it points some what twords the rear of the car. if anyone could help me identify this, that would be great. thank you. RE: missing vaccum hose - 10/28/2007 3:12:22 PM    josh_d87   Posts: 9 Joined: 10/26/2007 Status: offline yeah it did have a check engine light for a bit before it broke completely. i looked at it and it isnt the line to the MAP sensor. that one is still connected its further back on the throttle body than that. i dont have a camara but i am trying to find one, hopefully i can get a pic up by tonight. thanks for your help.
