I want to put a new head unit into my 2004 Saab Aero. I have called a couple of places and can not get a straight forward answer. One place says its a premium install and they only do basic installs. The others says well the price is going to depend on what we find when we get into the guts!! WTF!! I use to install car stereos and when a vehicle pulled up we already knew what the GUTS were going to look like. Why cant i get a answer!!! Is this going to be a chore? Will i have to by bass my stock amp, and re wire the speakers? Is there a kit to fit the new head unit into the gi-normous stock radio hole? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Chad

I'm not aware of a kit and replacing headunits in a saab is rather painful...Are you sure you don't just want an MP3 input? Whatever you do, you will loose whatever the SID displays about the headunit.
