Welcome to the forum, unfortunately I'm not at all familiar with that area...

As one who has just left the Phoenix area, make sure you do a yearly insection of all under hood rubber goods and make sure your cooling system is always in good shape.  If GM started making the AC system components, you definitely need to plan an annual inspect and service, or make sure that you have the extended warranty.  GM doesn't plan for 250-300 day a year use of AC system.  You may also want to make sure you keep a sunshade or gloves in the car.  At work so I'll do a little research and get you the name of the two independent Saab shops that were recommended to me.

crwchf01 ill paste it in here for you..it went to the wrong person

Imm Auto Service http://www.immautoservice.com/ and Swedish Auto werks. http://www.swedishautowerks.com/- these are two independedent shops in the Phoenix area that have a good reputation. The Kachina dealerships have been very helpful to me with older 900's, but I do most of my own work. You have some wonderful roads north of the Cave Creek area to drive, oh, almost forgot in the tips-- KEEP A GOOD CHECK ON YOUR TIRE PRESSURE. Most failures in the area are due to the high temps and under inflation. If you don't know how, most of the area parts places will be happy to show you.
