Well, it's almost spring time, so that means lots of nice clean cars.

I'm looking forward to putting a good wax job on my Saab, and making it shine.

So, does anyone have any favorite brands of cleaners, or techniques for cleaning their cars?  Any special tricks to get that eye turning shine?

Royal Blue is what I use for Wax exclusively...and some peanut butter to remove the residue

I've used Collinite Insulator Wax.  This stuff produces an unbelievable shine and bead that lasts a long time.  I found some in my father in laws shed and tried it and was amazed.  Then I heard from another guy that's all he uses.  It's a bit hard taking off though, and I wouldn't use it if your car is older or hasn't been waxed in a long time.  If you want something that goes on easssy and off easy, use LiquiTech Finish First.  Our detailer has been in the business for 20 years and it's all he uses.

Back in the day I used to use called Zaino Bros' Show Car Polish.  That was on a Mustang I had fixed up a lot, and wanted to get every last bit of shine I could out of a Paint job.

They have since started a few new lines of products, not so much for show car polishing, but every day car waxing.  That has been by far the easiest stuff I have ever used, both in application and removal, even from plastic trims.

If I had the money, that's what I'd go with again, but I don't.  So now I just a combination of different cleaning products I by at Wal-Mart.  I do have a preference for Meguire's brand products for waxing.  Other than that, I haven't decided on any favorites for anything else.  I do kinda like the Turtle Wax brand interior cleaner, it seems to have a better look than Armor All, not all that greasy, and does a good job.
