2005 Saab 9-3 Linear - 6/29/2008 7:21:20 AM    dbaker4572   Posts: 9 Joined: 6/29/2008 Status: offline hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I have a 2005 9-3 Linear. I added a K&N Cold Air Intake Kit to the car and it caused the engine light to come on. I believe it is from the hot air that gets trapped in the engine compartment when I am stopped at a light or stop sign. When I start moving again, the car is very sluggish and the turbo will not spool until the air starts to flow in. Any ideas on correcting this problem? Post #: 1

The light went back out in 2 days. The light came on first after about 45 mins of driving with the new intake. If it were a leak, would it have come on sooner, maybe a 1/2 mile down the road? I know, it''s hard to speculate without the codes. After I get the car inspected, I will re-install the intake. If the light comes back on I will get the code(s) and send to you. The instruction that came with the kit states to install the hose no more than 4 inches from the filter, I had it about 2 inches from the filter and feeding from the front grill.
