I have a 1998 Saab 900SE Convertible which I bought as a second owner. It is parked with the top down, and the alarm activated. I have my key but the dog ate my remote (this is not a homework excuse!). Saab repair people have COME HERE, hooked up the Tech 2 computer, and it reads everything EXCEPT the anti-theft option. (Computer says: cannot establish connection) I am told the whole security computer has to be replaced for a grand$$. I have the key, I own the car, why is it there is no way to get the remote code? The Saab dealership here in Seattle has abondoned their service dept.! Does anyone have any suggestions? There must be some record SOMEWHERE of the remote code, mustn''t there?
