salvaged radio - 5/17/2006 7:57:30 PM    yurchefe   Posts: 2 Joined: 5/17/2006 Status: offline I have a 1999 9-3 convertable, and my radio is not working properly. I found a radio on ebay, real cheap, the only problem is that it has been pullled from another car, same year, make and model. I called the dealer to find out how difficult it would be to get the security code, from the vin# that comes with the radio, and they told me the radio has to be "unmarried" from the car by a computer, and then take it to the dealer to be installed and "married" to my car. Is this true or just a way for the dealer to make money? Post #: 1
